The Howards Grove School District has a Child Find responsibility to locate, identify, and refer as early as possible all young children with disabilities and provide their families resources, including an Early Intervention Program or Early Childhood Special Education services, if needed, to best support their development and meet their needs. If you have a child who will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2022, a letter has been mailed to the address we have on file for you. If you have a child who qualifies and did not receive a letter, please call the Northview office at 565-4457. It is possible that we do not have your child listed in our computer data base. If you know of another family in the Howards Grove School District who may have a child who will be 3 or 4 years old, please have them call the Northview office to see if they are in our computer system. Parents are reminded to complete the questionnaire that was mailed with the letter of invitation and return it to Northview before March 1, 2022.

Red Nose Day, Joke-Ha-thon has arrived at Northview. It will be held in the cafeteria throughout the week. We'll have a mini stage, microphone, and speakers set up for students to say their joke. If you are able to donate coins or bills throughout the week to help us end childhood poverty send it with your child and we’ll have red buckets for them to put it in. They do not need to donate to be part of Joke-Ha-Thon week. Everyone who would like to tell a joke will have the opportunity to share it. Every child and staff member has received a face covering with a red nose on it. We are so excited!!

We are collecting information for our second quarter of school, November 6th - January 20th. This information will assist our staff to provide the best learning environment for your child. The form will need to be filled out one time for each child in your household that is attending the Howards Grove School District. It would be helpful if the form could be completed by Friday, October 30th. https://forms.gle/qDHQastT1ZpPnxJp8
