Dear Howards Grove Community,
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that seating for the Howards Grove Center for the Arts is not yet completed. All aspects of the Center for the Arts are complete except for the seats which is due to Seating Concepts failure to meet the deadline again. We continue to work with Seating Concepts to try to rectify the situation, however with little success. The anticipated delivery date has again been pushed back by Seating Concepts to the end of May.
Because of this delay, district performances are being rescheduled. The changes are listed below:

Any events that are being held in the HG High School Gym will have limited access to tour the new Center for the Arts.
I want to thank our local contractors for completing their respective work on the project to the highest standard. Jos. Schmitt Construction, Abacus Architects, Dean’s Electric, Neumann Plumbing and Heating, Baumann Excavating, and Kleeman Mechanical Inc. have all done outstanding work and are to be commended. Our local businesses truly take pride in their work.
On behalf of the Howards Grove School District I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. No one is more excited for the opening of this new facility than I am. I can’t wait to share it with you, albeit a little later now.
