SBIRT GOAL SETTING

SBIRT Goal Setting SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment) is an evidenced-informed intervention which uses motivational interviewing to create SMART goals for students to strive for. SBIRT is completed through 3-5 brief meetings with the School Social Worker. SBIRT can be used to improve school attendance, mental health, academics, AODA issues, and more. If your student could use a boost from goal setting in a structured environment, please contact School Social Worker David Hickmann at 920-565-4450 ext. 322 or dhickmann@hgsd.k12.wi.us
